Klebæk Høje, also known as Bækkemonumentet, is located on the northern outskirts of Bække in South Jutland. It is an ancient monument complex with three historical periods in the same place, making it one of the most significant historical sites along Hærvejen.
Klebæk Høje or Bækkemonumentet is a small group of ancient monuments along Hærvejen about 1 km north of Bække, consisting of two Bronze Age burial mounds and a 45 metre long Viking Age ship settlement. The rune stone Bække-stenen 2 forms the western end of the ship's settlement.
The National Museum of Denmark excavated the ship settlement in 1957-1958, but only found a grave with a piece of iron and some clay shards. Of the original 60 stones, only 9 remain. The missing stones were marked with smaller stones after the excavation, which were replaced with steel plates in 2011. At one point, the army road ran right through the ship settlement, which can still be seen in the terrain.
